    Like, seriously, this is the first time I have ever written a blog!!  First off, I would love to thank my husband to be for making this wonderful website.  Thanks Honey!! 

   Well we have a lot accomplished already but still so more to do!!!  Like find a church still!  This is one of the biggest challenges we've had.  Hopefully it will all work out!  And we just finished our "Save the Dates"  Again, more stressful than I thought.  So many decisions, from what toasting flutes we want to what we should have printed on the M&M's!!!  (Not kidding that was a 30 minute conversation of what would look better, until Chris said he didn't care what it said cause he would eat them regardless.  

    We started part of our registry!  And I've never seen Chris happier than when he had the scanned in his hand, scanning whatever he thought was cool!!   But we did pick out a lot of nice items!

   Sometimes it still doesn't seem real, or that it's my wedding, but then he jokes how I will soon be a Papa and to get used to all the nicknames.  Then I realize I'm going to be a WIFE!  Wow, even the word is still weird to say!!  But I'm sure I'll get used to it real quick!

   And since I know Caitlyn is going to read this I would love to thank my maid of honor for helping out with the "Save the Dates"   She was a great help tonight.  (and then made fun of me for looking at expensive flutes!!)

Well after a ton of deliberation and Brett Favre-like waffling, we made a decision on a hall and a date, opting for Romanello's South, and we shall be married on September 18th, 2010!

Now, we have about 11 months to so about 11 thousand things ... so ... help?!

The blog may be slightly tardy, but the party was awesome.  The clam-shell location we had was in a stunning location overlooking the water.  Speaking of the water, it rained for a good portion of the party.  That said, we still had a blast.  Whoever that sexy man was that was working the grills was simply amazing.  I mean seriously, how good was that Chiavettas chicken?  Two days marinating.  Fuhgettaboutit. 

Anyways, thank you to all that came and all that helped!

So first of all, Happy Father's Day.  In a wedding related note, we are going to a Father's Day Brunch at Banchetti's, which is one of our finalists for the reception hall.  If the food is as good as we've heard and half as good as it smells, we may be making a decision soon and picking a date!

We have an engagement party planned and scheduled for June 28th, and it will be at Beaver Island State Park.  This gig is invite only, so hopefully you got one.  If you did, we have a shelter reserved from 1-6pm, and we are walking distance from the beach.  Bring your gear, as the beach is open all day.  There IS a $8 per car fee to enter the park, so be prepared.  Food will be served, but feel free to bring your favorites.  It will (hopefully) be pretty nice out, so prepare for the weather!

So Michelle and I set up 5 appointments to check out some Banquet Facilities, and after a very tedious day of driving and talking, we have our choice narrowed down to two, with one of them verbally reserved.  Nothing to reveal quite yet, so stay tuned.
